يحيى الجديعي
Head of Arabic Department · PhD Researcher in Philosophy & Comparative Religion
Educator and researcher with over twelve years in Arabic, Qur’anic and Islamic studies teaching and department leadership — I design curricula and assessment frameworks, and build the digital platforms and tools that serve them.

Apps and platforms, AI tools, films built in code, and books designed from cover to footnote — each conceived and made by me.

An educator specialising in Qur’anic instruction, Islamic studies, and the Arabic language, with more than twelve years of experience across Qur’anic centres and schools. I combine scholarly grounding with the ability to make material accessible, and I care about cultivating Islamic values and conduct in students.
I currently serve as Head of the Arabic Department at Al-Hikmah Academy in the United Kingdom, while reading for a PhD in Philosophy and Comparative Religion at the International Islamic University Malaysia, following an MA in Usul al-Din and Comparative Religion with distinction. My research bridges comparative religious studies and contemporary political thought.
Alongside teaching, I design and build things myself: educational apps and platforms, AI research tools, explainer films written in code, and books I produce from cover to footnote — turning manual effort into measurable, repeatable processes. My work sits where Islamic studies, Arabic education, educational technology, and community service meet.
A comparative study tracing the criterion of leadership ethics in the Israelite experience between Moses and Aaron, set against shifts in Arab compliance during the Prophet’s ﷺ lifetime and after his death. It focuses on the leader’s influence, the structure of the community, and the standards of legitimacy and obedience.
An analytical study examining ethical judgement between intention and consequences, with a focused discussion through the Islamic ethical framework. It clarifies how purpose, accountability, and outcomes interact in moral evaluation.
A study approaching the relationship between belief and ethical action across the three faiths: how does faith produce conduct, and where does the tension between text and practice lie? It offers a comparative framework for the sources of moral obligation and the standards of evaluation.
