About the work
The story of a programme that carries a select group of gifted students from Yemen to Turkey and Malaysia over twelve years — from the first entrance tests to doctorates. It was made for visiting academics and foreign guests, so English is the primary version.
The whole film is written in code: one source renders four versions, with direction, typefaces, numerals and transitions following the language. A twelve-page brochure in both languages accompanies it.
